Orders:

How long does it take for my order to be processed?
Processing takes 1-2 business days (and orders placed after 12pm ET are processed the next business day). You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships.

How can I edit/cancel my order?
We are unable to edit orders once they have been placed. If you have any questions, please reach out to orders@playabeauty.com with your order number.

How can I edit/cancel my subscription?
Please log in to your account with your email address and password. You will then be able to edit your shipping address and subscription. If you are experiencing issues, please reach out to orders@playabeauty.com with your full name and the email address associated with your account, and how you would like to edit your subscription!

Can I add a discount code to a Subscription order?
At this time you can not add a discount code to a subscription item or order.


Shipping:

Where does Playa ship?

We ship to the following: all 50 States (including Alaska and Hawaii), and Puerto Rico. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii and Puerto Rico will take about 11-15 business days. You might experience a few extra days in shipping timelines.
At this time, we do not ship internationally, but we are working on it!

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is $6.
Priority shipping is calculated at checkout.

When will I get my order?

Standard shipping via FedEx is 1-5 business days.
Priority shipping via USPS 1-2 business days.
** Note: the last day to order products to arrive before the Holiday is December 7th for FedEx SmartPost.

Can I get my order expedited?

You can select priority shipping at checkout for domestic orders. Once you've placed your order, we are unable to expedite.

What if I need to change my shipping address?

If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please email orders@playabeauty.com with your order number and the correct shipping address.


Returns:

What is your return policy?

We accept returns for damaged goods up to 10 days after placing your order.

How can I return my order?

Please email orders@playabeauty.com for further instructions. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card used for payment.

How do I return in-store purchases?

If you have purchased a Playa product from a salon, spa, boutique, beauty supply store or other participating retailer, please return it to the location where it was originally purchased, subject to the store's own return/exchange policy. We apologize that we are unable to process returns for products not purchased online at playabeauty.com.

How can I exchange my order?

At this time, we do not offer exchanges.

Where is Playa made?

Playa products are made with love in Venice Beach, California, and manufactured in USA.

What do Playa products smell like?

Playa's intoxicating scent is a sophisticated take on 'beachy' with notes of black coconut, orange blossom, fresh sandalwood, and pacific musk. This product is cruelty-free and formulated without gluten.

What fragrances does Playa use?

Playa products were formulated with an IFRA compliant fragrance blend to give the sensory experience of the sand and sea that we love, formulated at low, non hazardous levels. Our fragrance does not contain the known irritants linalool, acetone, benzaldehyde, benzyl acetate, benzyl alcohol, camphor, ethanol, ethyl acetate and methylene chloride.

Does Playa offer samples?

Playa does not offer samples at this time, but we are working on it!

Is Playa Gluten-Free or Vegan?

All our products are animal friendly. Our Endless Summer Spray contains marine collagen, an effective, natural alternative to give hair hold.

Is Playa all-natural?

Playa maintains the safety and efficacy of our products. We have found that using a small number of low-hazard clinical ingredients is essential to maintain the performance and stability of our range. We strive to be as clean and safe as possible, and use only minimal amounts of these clinically active ingredients.

Does Playa use SLS or Parabens?

Playa does not use SLS, parabens, phthalates, or dyes in any of our products. These toxic ingredients do not increase the efficacy of products and are harmful to both environmental and human health.

Does Playa test on animals?

Playa love animals, and it is very important for us to stay cruelty-free. We do not test on animals, nor do we purchase from suppliers who are unable to prove that they are also cruelty-free.

Is Playa color-safe?

Playa products are safe for chemically treated hair and even extend the life of your color. 

Does Playa products offer UV protection?

The Ritual Oil and Endless Summer Spray have a UV protectant that shields hair and scalp from sun and environmental damage.

Can Playa packaging be recycled?

Yes, all Playa packaging can be recycled. To learn more about our recycling program, please click on the Making Waves tab at playabeauty.com.

Why are you called Playa?

Playa means 'Beach' in Spanish, a name we chose as our brand is infused with the laid-back spirit of the Californian coast. We hope that every time you use one of our products, you're transported to the beauty of the beach, no matter where you are.

Is Playa sold in any stores?

We are currently in 25 stores across the U.S., and in 50 Mecca stores across Australia and New Zealand. Please reach out to hello@playabeauty.com for store locations!
