Traditional conditioners use high levels of fatty alcohols, silicones, and emollients to smooth and coat the hair shaft. In our gloss rinse, we use lamellar deposition to deposit conditioning agents more selectively on damaged areas of the hair, so it won’t weigh hair down.

It depends on how much solution is needed to saturate your hair. Longer hair will require more product than shorter hair. Typical dosage ranges between 20mL-30mL per use.

This warming is completely normal and indicates that the product is working. When the gloss rinse formula is exposed to water, an exothermic or heat releasing reaction occurs. This helps with the deposition of the thin lamellar conditioning sheets on the hair.

Yes

Our fragrance-depositing gloss rinse was formulated with an acidic or lower pH to keep hair shiny, smooth and frizz-free. Healthy hair naturally has a mildly acidic pH so if a product is too alkaline/higher pH it can cause color fading for color treated hair as well as breakage and frizz.

For those that need extra conditioning we suggest following up the gloss rinse with your favorite conditioner, but over time you might notice you need less conditioner with continued use of gloss rinse.

No, there are only so many sites on the hair shaft where the fragrance can be deposited so leaving it in your hair longer will not improve the fragrance deposition.

It depends on how much solution is needed to saturate your hair. Typical dosage ranges between 20mL to 30mL per use which translates to 8 to 12 uses.

Clean is subjective and not defined by any government or industry standards. We choose to use safe synthetics that do the heavy lifting to give you results. This can include silicones, PEGs, and ethoxylated ingredients as needed to enhance product experience and overall performance. We safety test all our products to ensure they are safe for use and follow industry standards including IFRA.

pH 3.5-4.5

While we love silicones and plan to use them in other products, this product uses a different technology that doesn’t require silicones to give you silky hair.

While we do test for irritation and sensitization potential, we have not tested our products on sensitive skin.

We create long lasting and complex fragrances that contain both natural and synthetic ingredients.

The cosmetic grade alcohol we use acts as a lightweight solvent that helps the product not feel greasy or heavy on the hair while solubilizing the conditioning ingredients and helping them penetrate the hair cuticle. As you apply it to the hair it flashes off quickly.

Due to the bottle color and UV coating it is not recyclable, but it is made of 15% Post Consumer Recycled material.

The packaging contains UV inhibitors to preserve the fragrance and formula integrity.

The Made in Miami Perfumed Dry Shampoo is vegan.

The Made in Miami Perfumed Dry Shampoo leaves hair and scalp feeling clean, is formulated to support thicker hair with Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3, and reduces free radical damage, all without itch or leaving a heavy residue. Our dry shampoo also contains Upsalite®, a patented material that absorbs sweat and oily sebum from the scalp while releasing fragrance over time.

Our dry shampoo is formulated to work on all hair colors and textures. It contains powders that absorb sweat and sebum and, if used in excess, can leave a slight white cast that can be removed by brushing or gentle blow-drying.

After spraying it on your roots, let the product sit for 30 seconds before brushing.

It works on all hair types.

Yes. Sweat and sebum weigh down hair; by removing them, our dry shampoo can provide weightless volume and refresh your hairstyle.

Sensitivity to fragrance varies by individual. Our dry shampoo has been subject to irritation and sensitization testing to ensure safety.
